Airflow has to go from the side with less ribs to the side with more. You have the airflow direction arrow drawn on the fan? as well.

hey PCWizKid, I love looking at my email and seeing that you have uploaded new videos! Anyways, my ram slot is like 1 inches away from the cpu socket. The stock cooler is fine but, this cpu cooler is more wide and would be hanging over the DIMM? slot. My ram heatsink is tall so I would like to know how many inches (height) from the DIMM slot to the bottom of the cpu cooler. Thanks and keep up the great videos!
